Celebrating the Ascension with Catholic Icing
Gospel Video Illustration
Each week Holy Heroes creates a fun video illustration of the week's Gospel story. This week they offer two videos, the first is the Gospel for the Feast of the Ascension for which we are celebrating today. Holy Heroes also offers a printable for today's readings to help the kids follow along during mass.

Ideas from Sermons4Kids (and other free materials!)
This site posts a weekly "sermon for kids" which can be used to teach this week's Gospel lesson at a kids' level. Make sure to prepare the supplies you need before starting the lesson. These homilies are a great way to get a discussion started. This site also provides links for group activity ideas and other worksheets.
