Meet up at St. Joseph's after rescheduled
With the heavy smoke that moved in this last weekend, the St. Joseph’s meet-up had to be postponed and rescheduled for Sunday, Sept. 27th. All parishioners are invited to a fun, outdoor meet-up after 8 am mass at St. Joseph (Jump off Joe) next Sunday, Sept 27th. This is also the last mass at St. Joseph for this season. Bring your own lawn chair and your own coffee, and stay for some great conversation (socially-distanced of course).
Are you going?

Week of Sept. 20
Ever ask God what he wants from you? Perhaps you should. As a parent have you ever asked what he wants your children to do? Have your introduced them to God? That’s one of your missions. Ask God what your talents and abilities are. That’s a hint as to your mission. God will equip you to do what he calls you to do. There will also be a draw to that area to. So spend time in pray each day and ask God; “what do you want me to do?” -Fr Mike

24A Ordinary Time - Fr. Mike Ishida
God is the land owner
We are the workers
The vineyard is the kingdom of heaven
The wage is eternal life
The kingdom of heaven
It can be seen here on earth in seed form in the church
We are all called to be part of this kingdom although some of us are called later in life
Some are even called or respond to that call in the twilight of their life
And we should rejoice when someone enters into the kingdom
What does it mean to work for the kingdom?
At the very least we learn what is pleasing to God and live that way
Ask what mission God has for you
Place God first in your life
Religious Ed at Home
This year, Religious Ed for K-6 is going to start out as another distance learning project for families. We want to be able to continue focusing on learning our faith but not overwhelm everyone’s new fall schedules as families are working to settle into a new routine. Sign up for our weekly Religious Ed newsletter by email or text on Flocknote. See this week's linked below. Each newsletter will be a lesson plan based on Sunday’s liturgy starting with an intro, video, discussion and activity. There’s also a few printouts for the kids as well. Please give us feedback – we want to know what makes sense for you. Kellie Trudeau puts the lessons together and they should be about 30-45 minutes long..
